Meet
Dr. Jared Martin
Dr. Martin was born and raised near Anderson Township and has been a patient at Forest Hills Family Dentistry since he was a teenager. He attended McNicholas High School, graduating in 2014 in the same class as our own Dr. Reidy. He went on to attend the University of Dayton, where he graduated cum laude in 2018 with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in aerospace engineering.
After four years working as an engineer, Dr. Martin decided to follow his passion for dentistry and enrolled at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. His interest in dentistry began right here at Forest Hills, where he underwent complex jaw reconstruction and dental implant therapy with Dr. Dorsch to replace a congenitally missing tooth. He was fascinated by the high-end technology and advanced surgical techniques that gave him a strong, confident smile. Dr. Martin recalls the process as true full-lifecycle engineering and problem solving, and he views his undergraduate background as a cornerstone of his dental career. His dental education has only further solidified his passion and commitment to being a trusted healthcare pillar in the community.
Dr. Martin has continued to excel at Ohio State, gaining experience across all disciplines of dentistry and receiving the most up-to-date training in digital dentistry, 3D printing and CAD/CAM technology. He plans to continue his education in multiple areas, including implantology, oral surgery, and endodontics. His addition to our team will allow us to better care for patients of all ages and provide greater flexibility in scheduling to meet your needs. Dr. Dorsch will be reducing his schedule back to Tuesdays and Wednesdays later this summer. All three doctors will be able to serve the best patient base in the country with these expanded schedules.
Dr. Martin married his wife, Hannah, in 2021, and they welcomed their first child in 2024. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and golfing to stay active, and he loves spending time at home with his family. He remains an avid fan of his alma maters, UD and OSU.
Dr. Martin is excited to be back home in Anderson Township and looks forward to giving back to the community he grew up in. We are thrilled that Jared has chosen to make his professional home the same place where his journey in dentistry began as a patient. The future is very bright at Forest Hills family Dentistry!
