Cerec® - the "One Appointment Crown"

For those of you who have had to have one or more of your teeth crowned (capped), imagine being able to complete the procedure in one appointment! That's right, one appointment of about 90 minutes. No gooey dental impressions, no temporary to deal with for the usual few weeks while the crown was made at the dental laboratory, no return visit for removing the temporary crown and cementing the permanent crown. And at the same cost as the traditional two-appointment crown! Now you know why we are so excited that this technology will soon be available in our office.

Cerec® is a CAD/CAM system of fabricating in-office tooth colored crowns, inlays and onlays in only one appointment. The German technology has been in clinical use around the world for more than 17 years and is now available in the United States. We are very excited to incorporate this significant innovation in the armamentarium of proven dental procedures we offer.
