Bitemark Case Number Nine

Bitemark on the back of a sexual assault victim who survived the attack. This series of UV photographs show that, in a living victim, the best time to photograph the injury is 8 or 9 days after the incident.

The UV ("ultraviolet") photograph uses special photographic techniques and UV light to create an image of outer most surface of the damaged skin.

The color photograph is standard visible light photography typically seen.
