This child was abducted, sexually assaulted, murdered and recovered a few weeks later completely skeletonized. An arrest and subsequent conviction for the homicide was successfully prosecuted. The dental part of this identification dealt with trying to age the deceased based on the various stages of tooth development and then, after securing an ante-mortem dental record, a positive dental identification. (Any dental experts care to guess how old this child was at the time of death?)
